time is fleeing.
just two years ago, i had four more people in my life that i miss so dearly now. I can’t believe I lost two aunts one year and two uncles this year. all four took a huge part in my upbringing. its crazy how much life changes; but, also how much you persevere and move past the things you never thought you could. i feel them with me everyday and they remind me to be a better buddhist every morning.
parting gift.
Going back to Thailand in June for part two of my uncles funeral. Its bittersweet, but I’m glad I’m going. It will be the first time in over 15 years where my entire family has been together in Bangkok. We take so little time for ourselves that I can’t help but think that this is my uncles last parting gift to my family. He’s given us so much. I’ll miss him always.
